4th Batch Graduates Prepare to Board Costa

There is a saying "Everything starts here." And by everything, they mean fulfillment, your independence, and your financial success. This is what the Costa Apprenticeship Program Batch 4 attained last Saturday, 7 July 2007 at the Papel Restaurant.

After four weeks of training in the Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) which prepares them to become housekeeping, F&B and front office professionals in the hospitality industry, graduates received their course certificates and will now start working on board Costa Crociere S.p.A., one of the premier European cruise companies.

Graduating students conscientiously listened as Ms. Grace Cabilatazan, MIHCA's Hospitality Director and Ms. Cheryl Cordura; Fleet Manager of Costa gave their inspirational speeches to the 23 graduates. Mr. Mark Ballesteros, Valedictorian of the class, gave his heartfelt thanks to the MIHCA staff and instructors, Ms. Cora Pereņa, Costa Instructor, Ms. Sonia Bantiling, Housekeeping Senior Instructor and Mr. Giovie Sampedro, Career Development Manager, for giving them the support and encouragement they needed most. He also thanked their families who served as their inspiration.

The event was completed as Batch 4 showed off their talents as they danced to Costa's Theme Song "Buongiorno Smile!".

Now that the students have successfully completed their training, they will be preparing their necessary documents to join on board Costa Crociere.

Congratulations Batch 4!
